Small Group Health Insurance
Health insurance costs less for groups than for individuals because insurance companies offer better rates when they know they have a guaranteed group of clients.
But if you aren't employed by a large corporation, you can still get a cheap rate by searching for a small group health insurance policy.
Defining Small Groups
A small group is any group or business with one to 50 members. Any organization, club, bank, etc. can offer a small-group health insurance policy to its members.
For example, alumni associations, fraternal organizations, and service sororities often offer group policies to members. The organization usually doesn't pay part of the premium as an employer would, but your costs would still be less than with an individual policy.
If you belong to any groups, it can be well worth your time to find out if any of them offer insurance benefits. Also note that a group can have just one member. This means if you are self-employed, you might qualify for small-group health coverage as a "group of one."
Find Small Group Health Insurance
One way to find inexpensive small group health insurance is to go to an insurance comparison website. These secure websites give you fast and easy access to rate quotes from multiple A-rated companies.
Soon after you submit your information you'll begin to receive rate quotes. You can easily compare those quotes and see which company offers the best rates, coverages, and features.
On the best comparison websites, you can also talk with insurance professionals and get answers to all your questions, plus get advice on how to lower your premium even further.

I am running up a small home based business but haven't thought of making such policy. Once this option came in my mind but I dropped that plan as thought it will be expensive. But I am surprised to know that it won't be an expensive one rather having made this policy will provide multiple benefits.
